The first place I would like to recommend here is Ueno Park which located near the Ueno Station in central Tokyo. If you are lucky enough, you would be able to experience the beautiful light pink sight along the road in Ueno Park which usually happens during the cherry blossom season around March every year.
Not only being able to see the beautiful sight with your own eyes, you could actually sit under the blooming cherry blossom trees together with your special one, family, even co-workers while eating your own home made
bento box, juices and beer.
Bento box is basically a lunch box filled with various kind of food decorated in an interesting way. Japanese people usually called this event
Hanami.
Besides being able to experience
Hanami, you could also learn history and science here by visiting various museums in the Ueno Area such as Tokyo National Museum Science National Museum and many others. If you feel bored with science and history, since you got that too much at school already, Ueono Zoo might be the right place for you to explore more about animals. Ueno Zoo even have some rare species came from foreign country for you to interact with.
